At the beginning of the family project, Sérgio and Odair—who over the decades had kept correspondence with their teacher—met Monina Távora again nearly thirty years later, when the three happened to be passing through Rio de Janeiro. The encounter held special meaning: it was the chance to see again the educator who had been fundamental to both of their artistic formations.
